Programme
A CDE Programme was held on 20th April
2006 at Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College
Auditorium on the topic of "Dentistry
as being participated in Pakistan."
The Department of
Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry,
Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College &
Hospital, Pune under the guidance
of Organizing secretary Dr. V. B.
Chaugule, Head, Department of Pedodontics
and Preventive Dentistry, organized
it.
Dr. Altamash, Maxillofacial
Surgeon and Director of Altamash Institute
of Dental Medicine, Karachi, Pakistan,
spoke about Dentistry as being practiced
in Pakistan. This was followed by
an interesting interactive session.
Over 150 delegates
including students, interns &
faculty members attended the programme.

A CDE Programme was held on 31st Dec.04
in the Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College
Auditorium on the topic of "Current
advances in pediatric dentistry &
scope of dentistry in U.S.A. &
Canada."
It was organized
by the Dept. of Pedodontics &
Preventive Dentistry Dr. D. Y. Patil
Dental College and Hospital Pune,
under the guidance of organizing secretary
Dr. V.B. Chaugule, Head & Asso.
Professor Dept. of Pedodontics Dr.
Gajanan Kulkarni, Associate Professor,
Faculty of Pediatric Dentistry, University
of Toronto, Canada spoke about Laser-MTA
technique of Pulpotomy & ultramodern
techniques of caries detection. This
part was followed by interactive session
on scope of dentistry in U.S.A. &
Canada.
Over 200 delegates
registered including students, interns
& faculty member.

held on 11th July 05 in the Dr. D.
Y. Patil Medical College on the topic
of "Research Methodologies".
It was organized by the Dept. of Pedodontics
& preventive Dentistry Dr. D.
Y. Patil Dental College and Hospital
Pune, under the guidance of Dr. V.
B. Chaugule, Head & Asso. Professor
Dept. of Pedodontics. Dr. A. K. Munshi,
Director, Principal & Dean, K.D.
Dental college & Hospital Mathura
Spoke on the topic of Research methodologies.
Over 100 delegates
attended the lecture including PG
students, interns & faculty members.

Free camp
was conducted on the occasion of Visit
of Ramdev Baba.
The camp was scheduled
for 8 days. All interns & staff
members of community dentistry participated
with full spirit.
We had done OPD of
average 150-200 everyday and free
treatment was done for these patients
in the departments. The camp was a
great success and a helping hand to
the society to bring dental awareness.
